Hampshire salon opens training centre for Level 4 qualifications
Dorthe Thomas Spa in Andover, Hampshire opened a training centre on its premises in January.
Owner Dorthe Thomas and her team of therapists now offer training from a fast-track beginners pathway through to more advanced treatments in VTCT Level 4. The training centre also teaches NVQ Levels 2 and 3 and Thomas said she plans to continually update the course offer.
One-to-one training is also an option and all products and equipment is supplied by the training centre.
Thomas commented: “Many therapists currently working in laser and IPL aren’t aware that as of September they will have to have completed their Level 4 to continue working in these areas. Hampshire Beauty Training can help these therapists to quickly and conveniently update their qualifications through a fast-track or 1-2-1 VTCT Level 4 training course”.
The salon, located on Andover high street, offers traditional beauty services alongside holistic and “medi-spa” treatments such as dermarollering, cryolipolysis and skin peels.
